About Marita

I always loved creating! Drawing, painting, photography and music have always been an integral part of my life!

My mom always encouraged me to do what I felt like doing. My proximity to music, nature and creating comes from her. For nearly 15 years, music was what I did all day, every day. I always loved the way of expression, without words but with the ability to communicate on such a fundamental level. While others described music with descriptive words, I described music with words about color and movement.

It wasn’t until my late teenage years, before I discovered visual arts for me as another means of expression. The urge to create led me to study fine art and media design in Wuppertal.

In my second semester I really fell for abstract expressionist art and since then I am expressing myself through color. Looking back, everything fell into the right place for me. Music, nature and art led me to where I am now.
